So last night I started listening to more 12 Volt Theater, featuring stories by the Trucker, aka Jack Jaffee. I meet Jack virtually last week in Second Life, and I’ve listened to him for quite some time over on Wingin’ It and other Far Point Media shows. Nice guy, very appreciative when you help him out too.

Anyway, I’m sitting around episode 6 of 12 Volt Theater’s Down the Road series. This particular series is rather unique. It’s, as far as I know, the only podcast choose your own adventure series to date. Jack gives us a choice at the end of each episode (episode 5 part 1 being the exception to that) and allows the listeners to vote on his website on what comes next in Alice’s story. The Down the Road storyline features an America that never was, in a place that never will be, to quote the advertisement for the show. It’s rather well done and not for the squeamish. Jack doesn’t hold any punches when he talks about his dark world but it’s really handled very well.

Wanted to recommend the show to anyone who reads this. Jack’s a really good writer and the praise he gets is well deserved.
